Notes From the Workshop

Insights

Short engineering notes drawn from how we build.

  • 01

    Why we start offline-first

Many of our users have patchy connectivity or use the app in places where a signal cannot be assumed. Treating the network as an enhancement rather than a requirement makes the product more reliable everywhere.

  • 02

Define the device protocol before the device

When a product includes hardware, writing down how the device and the app talk, including framing and checksums, lets software and hardware be built in parallel and tested against a simulator.

  • 03

    AI as an optional layer

We design products so that they work without their AI features. An assistant should make the product better when it is available, and never make it unusable when it is not.

  • 04

    One data format across platforms

A single backup and sharing format for Android, iOS and web means a person can move between devices without losing their information.

  • 05

Say what is built, and what is not

Every product on this site shows what exists today and what is still ahead. We would rather be accurate than impressive.

Frequently asked questions

What does DigiManova Labs do?

We engineer software products end to end: mobile and web applications, backends and cloud, AI features, and the embedded and connectivity layers of device products. We also build products of our own.

Can I download the products on this site?

Not yet. None of them has a public store listing or hosted address. Each product page says what is built and what is still ahead.

Can you build something for me?

Yes. Tell us what you want to build through the contact form and we will reply.

Do you build hardware?

We engineer the software, protocols and connectivity around devices, and the apps and cloud that go with them. Our Smart Chant Box software is built, and its physical gadget is still to come.

Which languages does this site support?

English, Gujarati, Hindi and Marathi. Product names stay the same in every language.

How do I start a project?

Use the contact form below. A few lines about the idea, who it is for and what you need is enough to begin.
